Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Inpages Me ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

Inpages Me is a digital journaling platform that allows users to create, store, and manage personal journal entries, memories, and related content. The Service provides a private space for writing with optional sharing capabilities.

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or post through the Service ("User Content"), including journal entries (memories), file attachments, external links, and reminders. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Protection choices: New memories start as Protected by default unless you change that preference. Protected memories are encrypted in your browser; Standard private and public memories are server-readable. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your password or exported Recovery Key safe (if you lose both and have no unlocked device, we cannot recover your encrypted memories)
• Keeping your password secret and secure
• Protecting your computer and browser from viruses and unauthorized access
• Understanding which memories are Protected, Standard private, or public before storing or publishing sensitive information

Sharing Content

You may choose to share individual memories with others:

• You must unlock it first: If a memory is encrypted, you need to decrypt it before sharing. Once decrypted for sharing, it stays decrypted.
• Anyone can view it: When you share a memory, anyone with the link can view it—no password required.
• Search discovery: Shared memories are excluded from search while Publisher mode is off. If you turn Publisher mode on, current and future public memories may appear in search engines unless Inpages excludes specific content.
• No password protection: There's no way to password-protect a shared memory.
• You can stop sharing: Unpublishing removes access from Inpages.me, but others may already have copied, cached, or archived the content.

You are responsible for:

• Only sharing content you are comfortable making public
• Understanding that shared content may be copied, cached, or archived by others
• Not sharing content that violates these Terms or applicable laws
• Not sharing content that infringes on the rights of others

We are not responsible for how others use or share your publicly shared content.

Content Standards

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others (including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights)
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Spam, harass, or abuse other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
• Share content that contains personal information of others without their consent

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to exclude public content from search, remove it, or disable access when it violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. We can review Standard and public content, but cannot read the plaintext of Protected memories. We may act based on:

• Reports from users about shared (public) content
• Server-readable Standard or public content and visible account information
• Legal requirements or court orders

If we remove your content, we will try to notify you, but we're not required to do so.

Privacy and Data Security

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Encryption and Security:

• Protected memories use client-side encryption; Standard private and public memories are server-readable
• We cannot unlock Protected memory content without your password, an unlocked device, or a Recovery Key that you exported and retained
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and secret
• We are not responsible if you lose data because you lost your password and Recovery Key, or your device was hacked
• Client-side encryption protects Protected memory content from server-side reading, but it cannot protect you from viruses, harmful browser extensions, or someone accessing your unlocked device

Data Loss: We are not responsible if you lose your data, including:

• If you lose your password, Recovery Key, and access to every unlocked device
• If your computer breaks, your browser has problems, or you accidentally delete something
• If your device gets a virus or someone hacks into it
• If your browser's storage gets cleared or corrupted

We recommend regularly backing up your important memories and keeping your password in a secure password manager.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Inpages Me and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
• To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• To submit false or misleading information
• To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
• To collect or track the personal information of others
• To spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape
• For any obscene or immoral purpose
• To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service

Reminders

The Service allows you to set reminders for memories:

• Reminder requirements: Reminders must be set for at least 1 month in the future
• Email notifications: Reminders are sent via email to you and any additional email addresses you specify (up to 3 additional emails)
• Automatic deletion: Reminders are automatically deleted after they are sent
• No editing: Reminders cannot be edited or deleted once created (you can create new ones)
• Email addresses: You are responsible for ensuring email addresses you provide are accurate and that recipients consent to receiving reminder emails

We are not responsible for reminder emails that are not delivered, filtered as spam, or delayed.

Membership and Billing

New accounts require an active yearly Essential or Premium membership before journal content can be created. Current prices and plan limits are shown on the pricing page before checkout.

• Yearly billing: Monthly amounts shown on the Service are equivalents; the full yearly price is charged at checkout and at each renewal.
• Payment provider: Polar acts as Merchant of Record and processes payment, applicable taxes, invoices, and recurring charges under its buyer terms.
• Plan changes: Upgrades may be prorated immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing period unless checkout states otherwise.
• Cancellation: You may cancel renewal at any time. Paid access continues through the current billing period.
• Refunds: You may request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment. A refunded membership ends immediately. Renewals are not eligible for this refund.
• After expiry: Existing journal data remains readable and deletable, but creating or updating content requires an active membership.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.

Service interruptions: We are not liable for:

• Temporary unavailability due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues
• Data loss during service interruptions
• Inability to access your account or memories during outages

Termination

Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Data upon termination: If we terminate your account:

• All your data (memories, files, reminders, sessions) will be permanently deleted
• Shared memories will become inaccessible (but may be cached by search engines)
• You will not be able to recover encrypted data without your password, exported Recovery Key, or an unlocked device

Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time. When you delete your account:

• All your data will be permanently deleted
• Shared memories will become inaccessible
• This action is irreversible

Important: Before deleting your account, ensure you have exported or backed up any memories you want to keep. We cannot recover your data after account deletion.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL INPAGES ME, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Inpages Me and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Inpages Me operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
